Remote Area/ Camping Treks

The trans-Himalayan areas lie in remote and unspoiled areas. They are relatively strenuous but full of adventure and excitement. The areas are enriched with isolated and less-trodden trekking trails, the abundance of Himalayan peaks, hidden valleys, high passes and sweeping views stretching as far as the arid Tibetan plateau. The people living in these remote areas are of Tibetan origin and have followed Buddhism since time immemorial. Trekking to remote areas offers opportunities to visit ancient villages, high passes, beautiful lakes, isolated monasteries and also to experience the vast array of wildlife inhabiting the region, including Blue Sheep, Mountain goat, Jackal, wolf & the legendary snow leopard. All of our proposed restricted area treks require us to carry our own camping gear and cooking facilities due to the fact that there are no lodges or tea houses available on the routes.
