Itinerary

Arrive at the Tribhuvan international airport where you will be welcomed by Adventure Blossom Treks & Expedition ( Pvt,) Ltd representative and transferred to your hotel. This day is simply an arrival day and there will be no organized activities. So, you will have some free time to relax or walk around for local sights. A pre-departure meeting will be held early evening and you will be introduced with your trekking guide. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Today after breakfast, we start guided sightseeing to major historical and religious sites in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites that include the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddhanath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. After the Tour you will meet with Tour Organizer and Guide for briefing about your Trek. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

An early morning wake up and transfer to the domestic airport to board the flight to Lukla. We take off to our destination-Lukla- on a 35 min scenic mountain flight. After a cup of tea at local Lodge in Lukla, we will tread on the legendary “Everest Highway” which heads downwards through the alpine valley following the “Dudh Kosi” or milk river (named after its milky color from glacial silt). We reach Phakding after 3hrs walk and end our first-day trek here. Overnight at lodge.

Today we walk mostly uphill through the alpine valleys. We cross Dudh Kosi River a few times before we reach Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu region. In the evening, walk around the market or hike till the top of Namche for better view of snow capped mountains. On a clear day, you get panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangru, Kwangde and Taweche on the way to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at lodge.

Acclimatization is important before proceeding to higher altitudes. This is the first acclimatization day in Namche bazaar that everyone should make into their Everest region trekking itinerary. Most probably you will hike up to Everest View Hotel(3,880m.) via Sagarmatha National Park Museum. You can explore around and relax. Overnight at lodge.

The trail follows a fairly flat path along the valley with stunning views of Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse coming into view. There is a steep descent taking us through a forest towards the bridge over the Dudh Kosi. After crossing the river we climb up a zigzagging path through a rhododendron forest where we may encounter both musk deer and wild colorful peacocks. The climb goes steep as we approach Tyangboche, which opens up to breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Taboche. Tyangboche, famous for its legendary monastery, is the largest in the Khumbu area. There will be time to visit both the monastery and the museum. After visiting Tyangboche monastery we continue our trek to Debuche. Overnight at lodge.

This stretch of the trek from Deboche to Dingboche is through some pretty nice shady forest trails, full of Birches, Conifers, and Rhododendrons. The trail continues along the ridge on the true right side all the way to Dingboche while Ama Dablam's thumb like visage dominates the trail most of the time. In the late afternoon hike up towards Nagarjuna Hill for better view and acclimatize you body. Overnight at lodge.

From Dingboche (4,410m) we start the trek to Chhukung (4,730m), which is about three to four hours of wonderful mountain hike. The trail gradually ascends up to Chhukung. On the way, we can see lot's of summer huts made especially for keeping livestock in the summer and we also can enjoy the beautiful mountain views in and around the valley. Enjoy your time by relaxing with the view. Rest and collect the energy for upcoming Kongma La Pass. Stay overnight at Chhukung.

Chukkung Ri is a rocky peak, similar to Kala Pataar above the village of Chhukung. It takes approximately 3-4 hours of lung busting effort, also used as an acclimatization trip. The peak, small by Himalayan standards, doesn’t require any technical expertise, just stamina. From Chhukung Ri, you would have a fantastic views of Imja Tse, Ama Dablam, Makalu, and of Nuptse you won’t get anywhere else. You cannot see Everest from here, and that's probably the main reason why Chhukung Ri is a lot quieter than Kala Pattar and Gokyo Ri. Back to Chhukung, rest and relax. Overnight at lodge.

Early morning take your breakfast and walk continue to Kongma La Pass (5,335m) and all the way down to Lobuche. You will have picturesque view from Kongma La pass with charming Khumbu Glacier on the Lap of Everest on left view and right side you will see Island peak, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Thamserku, Taboche and surrounding Sherpa settlement. Stay overnight at Lodge.

From Lobuche we trek to Gorak Shep following the Khumbu Glacier and after exploring the place we hike to Everest Base Camp. We watch the spectacular view of the Khumbu icefall and the route to the South Col. Then we return to Gorakshep for overnight stay retracing back our previous trail. Overnight at lodge.

From Gorek Shep 2 hours of early hike to the summit of Kala Patthar to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Everest and other neighbor peaks. Like any other high points in the region, the top of Kala Patthar will greets you with sunrise view over the mountains, i.e. Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren,Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Taboche, Cholatse and other small peaks and down of Kalapatthar you will see the Everest Base Camp, Khumbu Ice Fall, and Khumbu Glacier. Enjoy the view and make a Panoramic pictures; before hike down to Gorak Shep for breakfast. After breakfast, you will follow hike back trails as you used yesterday till Lobuche, following the Khumbu Glacier. From Lobuche you will go for about 20 minutes down trail till branches from here you will take right trail leaving the main trail. On the way you will have a intoxicated view of Ama Dablam, Pheriche, Taboche peak and Cholatse Tsho. Near to the village of Dzongla you will need to ascend. After being in Dzongla; Rest, relax, and overnight at lodge.

Today, we will start earlier after having hot breakfast, by wearing warm clothes. Starting with easy trails, and later make a steep climb over the rocks. You will be on the top of Chola Pass(5,420m.) with the bunches of Buddhist prayers flags, via passing the glaciers. From the top you could have a mesmerizing view of Cholatse, Ama Dablam, Ngozumpa Glacier, Pharilapche and Kyajo RI. After enjoying the view we will descend from the pass following the rocky cliff. From the base of the cliff, you will climb up the valley from where, you will trek down for about 1.5 to 2 hours to the reach Thaknak/Dragnag. After crossing the Ngozumpa glacier, short descend will take you to Gokyo. Stay overnight at tea house.

If you feel too tired, you could spend time around enchanting lake or hike uphill for 2/3 hrs at Gokyo Ri for stunning sunrise views over world's highest mountains including Mt. Everest(8,848m.), Lhotse(8,516) Makalu (8,481m.), Cho Oyu(8,201m) and many more series of peaks, Gokyo lake and Ngozumba Glacier from the way and top of Gokyo Ri. This morning we will transfer you to Lukla airstrip for your flight back to Kathmandu. The 35-minute flight to Kathmandu usually leaves early from Lukla but this depends on the weather. Transfer to Hotel.
