Description

Api Himal Base Camp trek is non- touristy trekking trail located in the Far-western region of Nepal. The trek is named after the highest mountain of the region  Mount Api. And is protected by the Api Nampa Conservation Area.

Although low in elevation among the major mountains of Nepal, Api is exceptional in its rise above local terrain; the surrounding valleys are significantly lower than those surrounding most higher Himalayan peaks. Api peak’s south face rises 3,300 metres (10,830 ft) above its base.

You will find mixed Nepalese community such as  Bhramin, Chhetri, Mahara, Bohora, Thakuri, and others living in the region.
