Ghorepani-Ghandruk trek is considered to be one of the short treks in theAnnapurna region. This trek can be completed in 8 days and is suitable for people of all ages both young and adult, including families with children. You will walk through beautiful villages and rhododendron forests, with the backdrop of the Annapurna Himalaya. Poon Hill (3,210m) is the ultimate destination of this trek. From the view point of Poon Hill, you will see the entire Annapurna Himalayan mountain range along with Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, and Lamjung Himal. Hiking up to Poon Hill in the early morning to watch the sunrise over these stunning snow covered mountains is something extraordinary and unimaginable.

Ghorepani Poon Hill trek starts from the beautiful village Nayapul, after an hour long drive from Pokhara. After crossing the suspension bridge over Modi River, you will gently ascend through Gurung ethnic villages and farm terraces having enjoyed the views of Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) while trekking. On the second day you will pass through rhododendron forest before you reach Ghorepani hill .Next early morning we make an early climb for one hour to the Poon hill to watch the spectacular view of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri and other famous mountains of the region. After spending a couple of hours at Poonhill, we return trek to Ghorepani and have breakfast, After breakfast we follow the trail to Tadapani which will take about six hours walk and another three hours walk to Ghandruk. we stay overnight at Ghandruk, it is very ancient Gurung village with farm terraces. At Ghandruk we get a chance of seeing traditional  cultural Museum ,after that trek gradually decent to Nayapul and we drive back to Pokhara . At Pokhara we stay at tourist standard Hotel which was at Lakeside ,the famous touristic place in Pokhara. If you are on a short trip to Pokhara and want to do a short trek without spending much time and budget, the Ghorepani-Ghandruk trek is highly recommended to you. You never regret your choice.
