Everest Panorama Trekking is especially designed as an easy and short trek in the Everest region. This trek is highly recommended for those who have limited time to do longer treks in the high mountains but do not want to miss the great views of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world and Mt. Nuptse (7879m), Mt. Lhotse (8501m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m) and Mt. Thamserku (6608m). This trek takes you to the maximum elevation of 3870 m. making the walk easier with least chances of having altitude sickness problem.
After a 35-minute flight from Kathmandu we land at Lukla’s tiny airstrip, and then our trek begins gently ascending the Dudh Kosi river bank to Namche Bazaar, Tyangboche and Khumjung village giving good insight into the Sherpa culture, traditional lifestyle. After Namche Bazaar you will visit to a sacred Tyangboche monastery (3867m) and enjoy up close view of Mt. Ama dablam. On the way you will stop by Sherpa villages, surrounded by fluttering prayer flags and looming snow-capped peaks overhead.
During the Everest Panorama trek you will be accompanied by our experienced trekking guide and your belongings will be carried by our porters. You just need to carry your own light day pack during the trip. For the first time trekkers to Nepal this is a popular destination in the Everest region.
You will be cordially received at Tribhuwan Internationl airport and transferred to the hotel. After freshening up in the hotel, the meeting will be held in the hotel lobby with a guide. He will check your trekking equipment and other necessary things.
An early morning wake up and after breakfast transfer to the domestic airport to board the flight to Lukla. We take off to our destination-Lukla- on a 35 min scenic mountain flight. After a cup of tea at local Lodge in Lukla, we will tread on the legendary “Everest Highway” which heads downwards through the alpine valley following the “Dudh Kosi” or milk river (named after its milky color from glacial silt). We reach Phakding after 3hrs walk and end our first-day trek here. Overnight at lodge.
Today we walk mostly uphill through the alpine valleys. We cross Dudh Kosi River a few times before we reach Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu region. On a clear day, you get panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangru, Kwangde and Taweche on the way to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at lodge.
Ascend towards Hotel Everest View for stunning as well as panoramic views of mountains like, Mt Everest(8,848m.), Mt. Lhotse(8,516m.), Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserkhu, Mt. Kantiga, Mt. Tabuche and many more. We ascend Everest View Hotel via Sagarmatha National Park Museum, Syngboche Airport, and Sagarmatha Next (project which aims to transfer waste of Everest Region to Art) We highly recommend you to have a Organic Coffee with mesmerizing view from the yard of Hotel Everest View. After we could descend down towards Namche Bazar, Lunch and You can explore around as there is couple of Cafe, Bakery, and Pubs or relax. Overnight at lodge.
On this second last day's trek we reach Phakding. This 4 to 5-hour trek takes us through the villages of Jorsale, Monjo, Benkar, Tok Tok. On arrival in Phakding you will have time to relax.
On this final day's trek we reach Lukla. This 3 to 4-hour trek takes us from Phakding to Ghat, Thado Koshi, and Cheplung. On arrival in Lukla you will have time to relax and celebrate the completion of your trek.
This morning we will transfer you to Lukla airstrip for your flight back to Kathmandu. The 35-minute flight to Kathmandu usually leaves early from Lukla but this depends on the weather.
We will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and wish for your safe journey.
