Description

Ultralight Flight aircraft is a microlight plane powered by a single, non-turbine engine fitted with a propeller. It weighs a maximum of 450 kg and its 2 seats are fixed-wing. It can take off and land on a field and dirt road. Flying with Ultralight aircraft means flying like a bird in the sky. During the flight, you will sit with your instructor in the open air with the air-stream in your face and glide like a bird.

Ultralight flying is available in Pokhara. While flying over the Pokhara valley, you will enjoy the scenic beauty of the Himalayas and Nepal ‘ most beautiful Phewa Lake. The ultralight flight is a journey through nature. It can fly for hours even with the engine shut off. However, safety is guaranteed on the flight. You fly at an altitude of 9,000 feet above sea level and go very close to Mt. Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) and over the hidden remote valley.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Ultra Light Flight from Pokhara Airport

After breakfast in hotel drive to Pokhara Airport and take off ultralight aircraft. Duration of the flight varies from 15 min to max. 1 hr depending on the client's interest. Flight options A 15- min flight at the speed of 50 km/hr to 90 km/hr gives you a panoramic view of the entire Annapurna Mountain Range including Mt. Dhaulagiri in the distance. The maximum altitude it attends is 5,000 feet. A 30-min flight at the speed of 90 km/hr takes you slightly higher and farther. You'll fly over the Tibetan refugee camp and as far as Lamachour, on the northern part of the valley. It takes you closer to the Fish Tail Mountain. The view is truly superb. This 1 hr flight covers the entire Annapurna Mountain range at the speed of 90 km/hr to 130 km/hr and reaches the altitude of 12,000 ft. You will fly "above the clouds" and enjoy beautiful views!
