Description

Having breakfast in hotel  we leave for Bhaktapur day tour to see the spectacular cultural and heritage site recognized by UNESCO world heritage sites which reflect the richness and diversity of the Nepalese art and culture. Nepal is also known in the world as a living cultural museum.  While in Bhaktapur, it will be a good experience to explore sacred ancient temples, palaces, statues and beautiful architecture crafted by Newar artists of the Licchavi and  Malla  Dynasty .

At the entry gate to the  Bhaktapur  Durbar square you  will find  innumerable temples and other architectural wonders  that include  the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the picture Gallery, the 55 windows, the golden Gate,  the Batsala temple and the Bell of Barking dogs, etc. The statue of the king Bhupatendra Malla in the worshiping pose is placed on a column facing the palace. Of the many statues available in Nepal this is considered to be the most magnificent.

After lunch in a local restaurant we continue our day walk making our way to Taumadhi Square and do some shopping the souvenir items. Then, keep rambling through a maze of back streets and courtyards on the way to Dattatreya Temple in Dattatreya Square.  After completing the sights and sounds of Bhaktapur we return to Kathmandu in the late afternoon and check in the hotel.
